I drove to Bowling Green, KY for the second time this year – this time for the engagement of Rebekah and Jason. They’ll be getting married next year – and their wedding is something I’m really looking forward to. Here are a few of my favorites from one of the last hot summer evenings left this year. Congratulations Rebekah and Jason – I can’t wait until your wedding!

As summer is coming to a close, I wanted to share two images that previously weren’t in the post on Lauren and Patrick’s engagement session. The first one looks amazing as a large print and the second image was published, but only in color. I love the original one in color – it’s so vibrant and green – but there’s something about the monochrome version that is really awesome. I hope everyone reading this has a great weekend!

Wonderful engagement session with an awesome couple this past weekend in Bowling Green, KY — here’s one of my favorite images so far.

I first met Melanie and Adam earlier this year for their engagement session — and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since. This awesome couple, along with their two beautiful daughters, celebrated with family and friends at their grandparent’s home in Green Hills. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening or setting — a view that overlooked the rolling hills just south of downtown Nashville.

There were many wonderful and memorable moments throughout the day, but the playing of “I Feel Good” at the conclusion of the ceremony was especially great (just look at Adam’s father / best man’s reaction). You can also probably see that people at the reception had an exceptionally good time. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding. I really enjoyed being able to document all of these wonderful people spending time together – especially the moments when everyone took turns toasting the bride and groom. The thoughts and emotions that were shared were awesome. Here are a few of my favorite images from Melanie and Adam’s rehearsal dinner at Macke’s in Green Hills. I’m still working on processing the images from their wedding – something I hope to have up in the next week, but for now I hope you’ll enjoy seeing this part of their celebration with family and friends. As a wedding photographer, there are frequently quite a few images I see that either don’t make it into the original post or I feel they kind of get ‘lost’ in a post with 40-50 images – it’s extremely hard to pick out the best images from an entire wedding after all.  Because of this, I’m going to frequently start showing some love for these pictures.  This one is from Millie and Sam’s 4th of July wedding in Paris, TN – taken during their first dance. It is a personal favorite and I invite you to see it on black also.
