I spent a few hours on the 2nd to last day of 2010 with this wonderful couple. All of their engagement pictures were done in Percy Warner Park, a great spot just south of downtown Nashville. I think what I love most about it is you can wind up somewhere and not see anyone for hours. As I mentioned in the preview post, it had been kind of cold and overcast for at least a week, so we were thrilled to actually see the sun. Their wedding will take place later this year in Nashville – something I’m really looking forward to. Congratulations Jewel and Steven!

I don’t post a lot of personal work on here (especially if it’s not related to wedding photography in some way), but it’s not everyday you get to be a photographer on the sidelines of an SEC basketball game. This was the first sporting event where I got press credentials to shoot on the sidelines. I’ll get to do it again this Wednesday when Vanderbilt plays Ole Miss. This sequence is from last Wednesday; Jeff Taylor’s monster dunk against Georgia – it was ESPN’s #1 play of the day. I was situated to the left of the goal, and had a great angle to get these shots as he threw the ball down.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Callie and Johnny for their engagement session in downtown Nashville. Johnny is currently deployed overseas, but they will be getting married later this year in Lawrence, Kansas. These are just a few of my favorites from the 2nd to last engagement of 2010 – the pictures with the city lights in the background are among my favorite images of the entire year. I hope you enjoy them – Congratulations Callie and Johnny!

My last engagement session of 2010 was with this great couple. This was actually one of the warmest days in December in Nashville — the clouds broke apart at sunset which allowed for some pretty amazing pictures. More to come!
