Factory at Franklin Engagement
Posted on August 30, 2010
This has most likely been the longest I’ve gone without posting since the site redesign. There are some good reasons for that of course. I’ve been extremely busy with multiple projects and some very exciting things that I will be able to share later on this week. For now I wanted to share a previously unpublished image from Guy and Kelsey’s engagement session at the Factory in Franklin (these were actually taken at a nearby ‘grassy knoll’). The first one you’ve already seen, but I felt like sharing it again as it is one of my favorite black and white images ever. The 2nd one is 7 exposures, taken shortly after the first picture, and is another favorite though it was not in the original post. More to come later this week – I hope everyone has a good Monday!

Nashville Engagement: Kelsey + Guy
Posted on August 2, 2010
Kelsey and Guy are both musicians, so it’s only fitting that they had their engagement pictures done in Nashville, while they’re actually getting married in Utah later this year. In fact, as I post this, they will have already begun their drive out west. They are both extremely gifted musically and I think they are headed for some big things in the future (google: Guy Gibbons music — also on itunes as The Gibbons). We spent some time in and around the Factory at Franklin for their engagement session–undeterred by the heat that is typical for this time of year. Here are a few of my favorite images from our time together on this gorgeous evening, just south of downtown Nashville. Congratulations on your engagement!

Nashville Engagement: Becky + Dustin
Posted on July 23, 2010
Becky swore to her best friend that from the first moment she saw Dustin she knew that he was ‘The One’. I love stories like that. They will be married next year in Nashville. We met to do their engagement pictures recently at the Parthenon in Centennial Park and continued shooting well after the sun went down. Swing music from a summer concert series could be heard even in the far corner of the park, and this awesome couple practiced a few moves on an outdoor stage. Congratulations you guys—I’m looking forward to your wedding!
