Nashville Wedding: Bailey + William

Posted on July 20, 2010

Bailey and William were married a few weeks ago at Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN. Bailey’s father is a Nashville wedding photographer (Allan Williams), and I was honored when he asked me to document their day. Bailey and Will broke with tradition slightly and did a first-look before the wedding in the empty sanctuary of the church.

This is one of the few quiet moments that exists on a wedding day and I’m glad they were able to spend that time with each other. After the ceremony, the bridal party and I rode to the Factory at Franklin on the church bus. A good time was had by all at what surely is one of the most unique reception venues in all of Nashville. What follows are some of my favorite moments from their day. Congratulations again!

Thanks to Chad Moore for the assist in helping me document this wonderful day.

Bailey and Will were married this weekend at the Factory in Franklin.   This image is from their first dance, and is one of my favorites so far–but I have a ton more to look through.  More to come from this great Nashville wedding.

Bowling Green Wedding: Katie + Joey

Posted on June 21, 2010

Katie and Joey recently had their wedding at the historic L&N depot in Bowling Green, KY. It was a gorgeous day, and everything down to the last detail was planned perfectly (coloring books for the children? Brilliant!). They broke with tradition and wanted to have pictures done together before the ceremony–I don’t think I’ll ever forget the look on Joey’s face when he viewed his gorgeous fiance in her wedding dress for the first time. We managed to sneak away at some point during the reception as the sun was setting on their first evening as husband and wife – the light truly was amazing and helped make for some memorable images. Congratulations and I wish you both the best on your move to Ohio!

Special thanks to Wes Brown, a KY native who assisted & helped me document this day.

Amy & Jerry’s wedding was held at the gorgeous Belmont Mansion a couple of weeks ago. I had seen images for years of this incredible venue, but never had the opportunity to visit this building that sits on the edge of Belmont’s campus, just a few blocks from Vanderbilt University. Amy’s original venue (Opryland Hotel) was impacted by the recent flooding in Nashville, but the folks at Belmont did a great job of accommodating couples that were displaced. Here are a few of my favorite images from Amy and Jerry’s Nashville wedding.
