My favorite moment from 2010 was at some point during the reception when Megan and Brad managed to sneak away for a little alone time (their wedding was at the always gorgeous Cedarwood Mansion).

It was incredibly difficult to find what image I wanted to post, as I took upwards of 20,000 pictures this year. I am thankful and blessed to have been the wedding photographer for so many amazing couples. I’m really looking forward to 2011 – I already have two winter engagement sessions to share and a wedding coming up as early as March.

I’m really looking forward to sharing the pictures from Megan and Brad’s wedding at Cedarwood. For now though, one more image from their day I found while applying my black and white conversion (they get a copy in color and another in monochrome). I love this picture. It happens a lot when editing a wedding that I find quite a few images where I can’t decide which version I like better — with or without color can be a hard choice sometimes. I think the source of this indecision comes from my film days in college. Though I really like this one, I can’t wait for you to see this picture with all of the vibrant yellows and oranges. That was an awesome wedding. It’s 2 am and I just now finished downloading all of the images. This was the first chance I’ve had to photograph a wedding at Cedarwood Mansion and I was just blown away by what an amazing venue it is. Much more to come — congratulations Megan and Brad!

We began the evening at Cedarwood mansion, where Megan & Brad will be married in October.  We finished up this perfect, early-summer evening in Nashville with a few night pictures at the Parthenon.  I love how they differ so much from the ones done earlier in the evening–here are a few of my favorites.  Thanks Megan & Brad—looking forward to October!
