A picture from J and Megan’s wedding was featured on Moment Junkie last week. If you’re not familiar with that site, you should definitely check it out. In a world full of wedding blogs devoted to details, this one refreshingly focuses on people and moments.  Between the daily photos and momentous weddings, it represents some of the best there is in wedding photojournalism. It has also featured some of the best wedding photographers in the world, so I definitely feel honored to have had an image featured on it.

Nashville Wedding: Corrie + Andrew

A few of my favorite pictures from their wedding.  By far my two favorite parts to this day are when Andrew and Corrie were able to pray together before the ceremony and managed to still not see each other (thanks to the church architect for some clever construction). The other is the moment Andrew saw Corrie for the first time — the expression on his face is / was wonderful and tells you all you need to know about the buildup to that moment. Their wedding was in Mt Juliet, TN and the reception in nearby Lebanon at The Mill.  Happy Friday.

A picture from something I’ve almost finished editing — Chris and Tamara’s wedding at Scarritt Bennett was gorgeous. More to come — happy Friday.

Nashville Wedding: Megan + J

Here are some of my favorite pictures from Megan & J’s wedding and reception at aVenue in downtown Nashville. Zombie groom’s cake? Yes — and it was awesome. I hope from these you can tell a good time was had by all at one of the more unique venues right off Broadway.

ryan chan - You’re the god of reception photos! Especially the shutter dragging ones!

Nashville Engagement: Chris + Nicole

Chris and Nicole’s wedding will be a little over a month from now in Louisville — I’m really looking forward to it. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from their engagement session — we hit up the Country Music Hall of Fame (where they met), Centennial Park, and a cool location in the Gulch. I think more people should bring their dog when doing engagement pictures (if only for a few minutes). Happy Friday.

Jenny - great job! Looooove that red wall!
